Equipped with professional Canon or Nikon cameras, our photographers are exclusively trained by Tricia in 100 hours of specialized Rembrandt techniques on-location and at our corporate office. What are Rembrandt light techniques?
We specialize in the Rembrandt lighting technique to bring dimension and life to your images. With a variety of skill and flash we can achieve a very flattering light to bring out your best features. The three basic light patterns are listed below: Flat, Split, or Rembrandt. Notice the flat light has no shadow or highlight.
Split is simply one shadow one highlight. The Rembrandt has highlight, shadow, highlight, shadow. Also look for the triangle on the cheek. We feel that this technique brings out you at your best.
How it works!
Simply call a Tricia & Co. Photographer to book a session. We will schedule you for an late evening or early morning session during your vacation. When you arrive into town call the studio for directions and the photographer will meet you at one of our fabulous locations. The next day we will meet you at your vacation rental with the images for you to choose your beautiful family and children’s portraits. In 8 weeks, your vacation memories will arrive at your door! We keep it simple and easy for you.
Clothing choices:
Clothing choices are one important aspect to your successful and timeless portrait. Tricia & Co photographers have a variety of backdrops in different locales for your vacation portrait. The larger the group the more important it is to coordinate your colors.

Beach scenes: Most beaches are light brown to white sand. We suggest all white clothes, khaki and white clothes or white tops and light denim jeans. We want to bring the focus of the eye to face not the clothes. Please be sure that they fit when you sit. In our experience, linen works the best.
Garden scenes: Most gardens are a mix of deep greens and browns. We suggest that your clothes complement the background. Think rich deep jewel tones and colors. Snow scenes: The snow is pure white. We suggest either white and grey or white and khaki.
Desert scenes: The desert is khaki and deep jewel tones. Again, matching the landscape brings attention to the face. Khaki bottoms and deep jewel tops look best.
We suggest that you do a trial with your clothes. Be sure you are comfortable sitting in them. Make sure skirts go over the knees. If you are self conscious about anything, cover it.
Services
Corporate office services: We offer indoor and outdoor sessions for families, family reunions, children, engagements, couples, and high school seniors. We also create headshots for models and actors and a limited number of weddings.
In each location, we create outdoor family vacation portraits for family reunions, families, children, engagements, and high school seniors.
Indoor sessions: Tricia offers her unique and beautiful Rembrandt lighting portraits. The timeless classic is a beautiful use of light to add dimension through the use of light and shadow on the face. It flatters all facial types for a portrait that will be a family heirloom.
Vacation sessions: Tricia & Co. photographers use their eye for scouting skills for a beautiful,scenic and convenient location for your family memories. It's a fun activity that your family will remember for a lifetime.
Family reunion sessions: When the extended family is able to have a get together, it's important to remember and memoralize it in a special session. Tricia & Co. photographers will arrange the whole group, grandparents and grandchildren, just the cute grandkids and each family during the session. We also have a top notch designer who can put together a special wall collage for families.
Children's sessions: Life precious gifts grow up fast. We suggest our baby grow program at our indoor studio / environmental studio in Los Angeles. We offer a three or four session 1st year package because babies grow so fast! Our vacation photographers also offer just children's sessions as well. We offer a variety of age appropriate props to add character and fun to each session.
High school senior sessions: The senior year. The last step as a teenager and the first towards young adulthood. Bring your school activities and uniforms to the planning session or with you on vacation for a unique one of a kind session - featuring you!
Couple sessions: Celebrate your togetherness. When you are on a once in lifetime trip count on one of our professional vacation photographers to capture you both with smiles and romance.
Proposal sessions: Is she the one? Are you ready to ask her to be your life partner? We can arrange for a photographer to be a discreet distance to photograph the event with all of the joy and excitment.
Engagement sessions: This is an exciting time for a couple. Enjoying the romance and planning for your new life together as a team. Children will come soon enough but for now it's just the two of you. Remember this special time of "togetherness" with a professional portrait that you'll be able to tell the grandkids about.
Boutique Weddings: At the Tricia & Co. Corporate office, we offer a limited number of boutique weddings each year. We assist the couple with planning their portraits that are unique to their ceremony and personality. Our focus is on high quality family, couple, and ceremony portraiture. Custom albums and CDs of images are available with this service. Call the studio for an appointment.
