What elements make a good photo

Greetings! Art is in the eye of the beholder. However, there are elements in a scene that will make your photos have a greater impact.
1. Color! Colors set the mood for photograph. Do you want the viewer to feel happy? sad? angry? peaceful? Think about how a scene looks and the message you want to convey.
2. Lighting! This also affects the mood of the viewer. Are the colors dull? contrasty? bright? muted?
3. Compositon! Find your subject and then put it in different places in the scene. To the right, left, top bottom, and center. Most of the time the most dramatic look will be off center. Follow the "rule of thirds" and put your subject in one of the squares.
Most importantly, have fun and make prints for the walls in your house.
